Regional Ranging
How to Select a Range
Your convenience store plan will be dependent on three main factors;
* The amount of space on the fixture dedicated to tea (click here for a recommended layout)
* Where your store is based
* Your customers
Normal tea bags equate to 96% in volume of the convenience market, so it is important that they get the majority of the space.
Having a Loose, Instant and Special tea offering is important, because you need to offer your shopper choice. Dependent on space, a fixture should have at least one instant offering, one loose offering and between two and four special tea products. (Click here for a recommended layout)
Choice of pack size is important. If, for example, the store is situated near a high concentration of office blocks, there may be the need to stock bigger sizes to accommodate the demand from shoppers buying for the office.
The customer profile of the store should also be reflected in the range. If located in an up-market area, more emphasis should be given to special teas.
To get your regional range, click the area that most closely matches your location. The recommended range is based on sales data and Tetley expertise for that region.
